Saturday night I saw an old friend, new friend again, and EXTREMELY TALENTED SINGER, MUSICIAN, & Artist, Lauren Hart perform at Chaplin's. It was soo good to see her, and see her perform. Her songs bring you in and keep you locked in; into her heart and soul. A fan of Aimee Mann, Lauren has a similiar sound to Mann. Lauren's songs and lyrics are stronger, very captivating and lifting.
I love music, love live music, and love Lauren's music. Can you call a friend, a groupee? I can be both. I am a fan of all of my friends, but this one...I am huge fan of her music.

The venue was at Chaplin's in Spring City. It was a byob with candle lit tables & chairs, had very good acoustics, and pretty decent food (although I don't recommend the cheese plate esp if you are on a date...some strong smelling cheese phew!) and very cool crowd. Its right on Main Street in this quiet little PA town.
Lauren & her music made it a GREAT NIGHT OUT!
(although getting up at 5am on Sunday to travel to my first Mountain Bike race of the season, was pretty tough).
